Lord have mercy, we had an excellent party Saturday night at the Dakota Music Lounge in Santa Monica.

Lynette Skynyrd’s lead singer Laurie Es and guitarist Cathy Lauer graced the stage to play an acoustic set of songs originally performed by the 70′s Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. Laurie and Cathy played beautiful arrangements of classic Skynyrd songs, many of the ones that were less popular commercially but highly meaningful in the anthology of the band.
Special guest Judy Rudin accompanied the ladies on harmonica for several songs, which added so much to the performance. Here is a slide show of pics of Lynette Skynyrd from the event. Enjoy!
I absolutely enjoyed their music!!! They are extremely talented and generous artists and I would love to see them again…
